Production, partnerships & advisory

Turn approved footage into films ready for their destination.

We edit and adapt motorcycle and automotive footage for campaign channels, coordinating technical delivery and clearance requirements where included. Each version should preserve the product story while meeting the needs of the screen and booking.

The buying decision

Check the rights before planning the edit.

A supplied launch film may have music, talent or footage licences limited by territory, duration or medium. We identify those questions before making derivatives. The brief also needs the intended lengths, aspect ratios, languages, end frames and approval route, with access to suitable source files.

Work can include cut-downs, subtitling, graphics, dealer endings, sound preparation and delivery files. Television or cinema versions may require additional clearance and technical checks through the relevant process. We coordinate those requirements within the agreed scope; final acceptance remains with the broadcaster, platform or appointed clearance body.

What it is

Existing footage can work harder when it is edited for the screen it will appear on.

The service turns existing film and campaign assets into purposeful edits for different audiences, durations and environments. It also covers production-partner coordination and support through Clearcast review for UK television advertising.

A single motorcycle shoot may need to introduce a model, explain technology, support a dealer event and supply silent exhibition screens. Each context requires its own pace, framing, sound, supers and call to action rather than a master film exported unchanged.

Audience and data

For Video editing & broadcast clearance, we build the target around the content, audience and viewing or listening context that is relevant to the brief. Where the platform allows it, engagement can be turned into custom audiences and used in later retargeting so people who have shown real interest receive the next appropriate message.

Audience availability, matching and retargeting depend on the platform, market, permissions and campaign set-up.

In practice

These examples show the sort of targeting we can consider. Availability varies by platform, market and permissions, so we confirm the usable options before launch.

Relevant contentProgrammes, videos, audio or environments that fit the Video editing & broadcast clearance brief.
Audience signalsAvailable interests, behaviours, geography or first-party data selected because they fit the customer.
EngagementPeople who meaningfully interact with the campaign can inform later audiences where the platform supports it.

Common mistakes

A global motorcycle launch film is frequently supplied in one duration and aspect ratio, even though television, YouTube, paid social, websites, dealer screens and exhibitions require different pacing, framing, sound and calls to action.

Product, price, finance, safety and performance statements can become inconsistent when markets produce cut-downs independently, increasing the risk that an old end frame, unsupported claim or unapproved specification reaches a broadcaster or platform.

Clearcast review, broadcaster delivery and digital-platform acceptance are separate processes with their own evidence, technical and timing requirements, so a finished-looking edit may still need substantive work before it is eligible to run.

Planning and delivery

We audit source footage, campaign purpose, usage rights, approved claims, existing music and required destinations before deciding which edits should be made. A version architecture sets the job, duration, aspect ratio, sound treatment, supers, end frame and legal requirements for television, YouTube, online video, social, dealer and show-display environments. Existing footage is recut wherever it can produce a credible result; when missing shots, voice, sound or specialist finishing prevent that, we can coordinate with suitable production partners rather than conceal the gap. For UK television, our experience includes organising the information, script or storyboard stages, evidence and finished-film submissions used in the Clearcast process, then managing comments and revisions with the client and production team. Clearcast retains the approval decision, and a clearance does not replace any separate broadcaster, media-owner or platform acceptance requirement.

What the client gets

Source-footage, usage-rights, product-claim and destination audit with identified production gaps

Version matrix for duration, aspect ratio, captions, sound, supers, end frames, legal copy and intended screen

Approved master edits and channel-ready files produced to the confirmed technical specifications

Approve the film at its actual size and duration.

Review product accuracy, caption readability, sound levels, offer wording and the final destination on representative screens. File acceptance confirms technical suitability, not campaign effectiveness. After release, viewing and response evidence can inform the next edit, with different platform metrics kept in context.

Common questions

Can you create new campaign versions from footage we already own?+

Yes, provided the source quality, coverage and usage rights support the intended edit. We can recut, reframe, caption, grade, mix and version existing assets for television, YouTube, online video and show displays. We identify honestly when a missing shot, voice or specialist finish requires new production.

Can you guarantee that Clearcast will approve our television advert?+

No. We have experience coordinating the Clearcast approval process, preparing submissions, managing comments and helping the client respond with evidence or revisions, but Clearcast makes its own decision. Schedules should leave time for questions, amendments and resubmission rather than treating approval as automatic.

Does a television-approved film work automatically on every digital platform?+

No. Broadcasters, publishers and platforms can apply different technical specifications, policies, advertising rules and acceptance decisions. We prepare each intended version against the current destination requirements, while recognising that approval in one environment does not guarantee acceptance or delivery in another.
